The Liz List - October 25, 2019

Happy Friday! 🎉 I’m in Dallas today. I got here yesterday, and I’m visiting for a few reasons… 1) my sister-in-law and brother are playing a show 2) my friend Terah and I are going to the Dior exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Modern Art and 3) I’m getting my first ever… 🥁… laser treatment with my girl Amanda at Eleven Wellness. She recommended an IPL (“Intensed Pulse Light”) Photofacial to help with my melasma (boo to annoying pregnancy side effects). Amanda’s a skincare wizard, so I do whatever she tells me. 🧖‍♀️ Straight after the peel this morning, I’m driving back to Austin. When all is said and done, I’ll have been in Dallas for less than 24 hours. I kept it efficient! Gotta get back to my girl! 👼🏻

The Liz List - October 18, 2019

Happy Friday! 🥳 Y’all Kate turns 6 months old tomorrow. 😩 I can’t even handle it. It flew by. Everyone warned me it would and it has and it’s wild. What’s cool though is she’s starting to be more interactive and fun. Honestly babies are kind of just bumps on a log for a while. 😅 Obviously you still love them through the boring (but adorable) newborn phase, but they really are much more enjoyable to hang out with all day once they start babbling and giggling. It’s been fun. Also, I decided I’m going to start doing highs and lows on here. It’s an easy way to share about my week + allows me to keep it real while giving me an outlet to maybe complain a little. Sometimes a girl just needs to complain! So here we go…

The Liz List - October 11, 2019

It’s almost been 2 full months since my last Liz List. Yikes! 😬 Certainly not intentional, but sometimes life gets in the way. It’s honestly been a weird couple of months for me, personally. Don’t worry… nothing too bad! I’m just working through the normal new mom emotions surrounding this life transition into motherhood, and it’s had me a bit distracted from the blog. I’m actually working on a blog post about it right now, but since it’s more personal and involves lots of feelings it’s taking me a bit to finish it up. More to come!
