Happy Friday!

In case you've missed the memo, which I don't know how that's possible with all this talk of PSL's everywhere you turn, next week is the official start of the fall season. And let me tell you, I really had to resist the urge to type that last sentence in all caps because I'm pretty stinkin' excited about it. It's time for pumpkin scented candles, cozy sweaters, and fireside chats. Not to mention the holiday season (yay!) is fast approaching. I'm not knocking summer, because if I'm being honest I would consider summer my favorite season of them all, but after months of 90-100 degree weather here in Texas I am more than ready for a bit of a reprieve from the scorching temperatures.

In the graphic above are some pieces that I am loving for fall. I can't wait to throw on a chunky knit sweater and pop on a beanie and some cute leopard flats. I have a feeling that will pretty much be my go-to look for the rest of the year since I usually err on the side of comfort for my day to day wardrobe choices. Of course I am still very much drawn to the floral trend, and that J. Crew sweater nails it. Those open-toed booties have been on my wish list for some time now, so hopefully they'll make their way into my closet before too long. Finally, burgundy and olive green are the big colors this fall season, and that burgundy Tory Burch crossbody and the olive field jacket are both basic pieces that make it easy to incorporate those popular shades into your wardrobe.

I hope you enjoy these pieces and that you're looking forward to fall as much as I am!

XOXO,
