The husband and I do our best to get out of the house for a date night of dinner and drinks at least once a month. Although we go out to dinner often since we're both busy (making cooking difficult), date nights are different. I think there's just something about calling it a "date night" that makes the evening a little more special and romantic. You should try it!
Anyway, it's no big secret that Austin is a pretty casual town when it comes to style, but usually for these occasions I just ignore that little detail and dress up a bit (which, by the way, I think is important to do in marriage every now and then). A little black dress is the perfect option for a simple yet chic date night look, and it's a wardrobe staple that every gal needs in her closet. To make this look a little more fun, I wore these cute and on-trend J. Crew tassle earrings - which by the way are on sale. Unfortunately, the clutch I'm holding is sold out, but here is a similar option. Of course, I wear my Hermes cuff bracelet any opportunity I get, and I think it works perfectly with this ensemble.
