September Instagram Roundup
As the title of this post suggests, below are a few of my favorite Instagram shots from September that didn't make it onto the blog - until now! Really, these posts are just an opportunity for me to do a monthly update on my life. A bit of a picture journal if you will. So, hopefully y'all will oblige me getting a little personal every now and then.

I can't believe it's already October! It seems like just yesterday I was soaking up the last bit of summer at the pool, and now I'm beginning that slow transition into booties and scarves. Don't get me wrong - it's still very much hot in Texas (today the high temperature is 91 degrees) - but there have been a couple of cool fronts that have come through and dropped the temperature down into the 70s for a few days here and there. And after months of 100+ weather, I'm excited for the chilly temps to stick around!
September was a really fun month for me and my husband. We celebrated the end of summer with a few of our friends at Top Golf in Austin, football season started, we gorged on some amazing BBQ at Texas Monthly's BBQ Festival, and I attended a couple fashion events here and there.
As is usually the case for most people after the summer holiday, things have really started to pick up for me - it's busy around here! I work in politics, and Election Day is just around the corner which means work work work. I really can't complain too much because it really has been a good mix of business and pleasure. Plus, when you love what you do it really doesn't feel like work.
One blogging milestone from September - I shared my first "Pop. Liz. Clink." post on this blog (which you can see here if you missed it) which was just all around a fun time. My photographer Jessica is awesome and took some really great photos - I can't wait to post more of these because I really enjoy doing them. I hope you like them too!
Other than that, I'm in the midst of a weight-loss "Birthday Challenge", the husband and I finally joined a new Life Group at church, and I finished up a photography class at Precision Camera (which was awesome by the way) to beef up my skills a little bit for y'all. So, not only have I been having fun, but I'm hitting some personal growth goals as well.
