This week's edition of "Friday Favorites" is a little outfit inspiration for y'all.

Although you may not be able to tell from my posts so far, for about the past 6 months I have been in the process of "edging up" my wardrobe. The problem is, as those of you who know me know, I tend to have expensive taste. So, this transition process is taking some time. I definitely still have my days where I just want to throw on a crisp button up and prep it out, but more and more I find myself leaning towards this new direction - all I need are the clothes to make it happen. So, even though I don't have all the elements of this look in my closet yet, I'm almost there!

The things I do have are the simple v-necks, those Rag and Bone booties (see.... expensive taste), and I finally found a moto jacket that works for my body type (it's the Hive & Honey jacket from Piperlime linked below). There are so many moto jacket options out there right now, so just try on several until you find the one that works for you. I picked a classic black one for my first, but this champagne shade is next on my list. And at $128, it's affordable. I also just bought the 360 studs (number 3). I've been seeing the pearl color option everywhere, so I went with the black/champagne combo to do something a little different.

Not only is this look chic, it's timeless. Don't be afraid to edge it up!

Happy Friday!
